Super grateful to have directed a video series on Strife.tv that was partnered with Colgate(R), Youtube, and CreatorUp. I feel blessed to have worked with a talented team and a brand that gave me creative freedom to tell inspiring stories from the POC and Hip Hop community my way.

My roots in digital content started on Strife TV. When I felt my creativity being hindered at my 9-5 job, I took the initiative to create a Youtube channel with my friends that would document the Breakdancing and Hip Hop culture. Today, it has over 156k subscribers and a global following, and has allowed me to work with top brands, travel the world, and teach for Google. I’m grateful for the community that’s been built around Strife over the past 11 years. I’ve seen children grow up watching our videos to now become world renowned competitors, and dancers I admire become close friends. Strife allowed me to fully express myself through video without the limitations of brands, companies, or outside authorities. That freedom has given me opportunities to explore innovative camera and editing techniques, and access to the best camera and lighting equipment on the market today. I always go back to Strife whenever I feel I need a creative fix and freedom to create what’s on my mind, while being able to fully engross myself into the Hip Hop culture.

New Video Series for Stella Rosa!

How To make a Stella Rosa The One That Got Away cocktail! Ingredients: * 1 oz. Whiskey * 3 oz. Stella Rosa® Rosé * 1 tsp. Rose syrup * 1 oz. Grapefruit juice * Grapefruit slice for garnish Instructions: * In a shaker with ice, combine whiskey, Stella Rosa® Rosé, rose syrup, and grapefruit juice.

I love this new style that we brought to Stella Rosa's cocktail recipes since it brings our more of a cinematic looks rather than the regular top-down "Tasty" videos.  The Director of Photography, Tony Huong, did an excellent job capturing the different details that go into mixing a drink.  Though drink recipes can be seen as fleeting social media pieces, I've found them to be little commercials and music video within themselves that helps me evolve my craft.  

Big thanks to the Stella Rosa team for always being on point with pre-production and overall design.  More videos in the series to come over the next couple of weeks :)

Another awesome NextUp Program in the books!

I've had an incredible year of teaching, instructing, and consulting.  From mentoring students at LA Mission College to consulting Ad Agencies for Youtube, I'm grateful to share my experiences and knowledge to those who need it.  One of my favorite programs is Youtube's Nextup program in which I was the co-lead TA and mentor.  I was once again able to help Youtube creators with 10k subscribers and up how to use basic filmmaking techniques to improve their channels.  I've taught and mentored at a total of 3 NextUp programs this year and all of them have been filled with amazing creators that I can now call my friends :)

I'm so grateful to have mentored and taught in Sao Paulo, Brazil for Youtube and CreatorUp's business building workshop to teach Brazilian creators how to create businesses out of their channels.  To see creators and experts excited to work together to help build their businesses was absolutely heart-warming and inspirational :)

Had another amazing opportunity to be the Social Media expert and consultant at the Youtube and CreatorUp Business Building Workshop at the Youtube Space LA.  The workshop helps Youtube channels with 100k+ subscribers create sustainable businesses with their channels - something that I have a big passion for!  

Teaching At Youtube Space LA for their NextUp Program!

Last week, I had the pleasure of mentoring and teaching content creators for Youtube's NextUp program, which helps channels with 10k subscribers and up get to the next level.   This was all possible through CreatorUp, and I'm happy that I now have the experience and knowledge to help content creators grow on Youtube and other social media platforms, to create long lasting brands and businesses to sustain their passions :)

Now I plan to apply this experience to companies, brands, and individuals who are looking for ways to improve their branding, content creation, social media presence, and digital marketing strategies.

I had a blast teaching and  mentoring at the Youtube Space LA for Creator Up and their Business Building Workshop.  I was able to help Youtubers with 100k+ subscribers alongside some very talented and experienced professionals and consultants.  It was an honor to be amongst such successful and talented people, can't wait for the next workshop!

Teaching At NextUp Labs At Youtube Space!

I had an amazing time teaching and mentoring for CreatorUp at the Youtube Space for the NextUp Labs.  It was awesome to meet other creators and help them on their journey towards success on Youtube.  I had a blast and can't wait for the next camp!
