The BMW 1 Series M Coupe was an instant classic. It was the product of an internal skunkworks project to shoehorn the suspension, wheels, and brakes from the larger M3 Competition Pack into the 1 Series. The fender-flared squat little bulldog was a bit badly behaved, which only made us love it more.
